'Death Howl' is a unique blend of dark folklore, tactical gameplay, and emotional storytelling.
Developed by 11bit Studios the game follows Ro, a hunter on a spiritual journey through a mythic, spirit-filled world
shaped by grief, ritual, and survival. Its distinctive pixel-art aesthetic and card-driven combat system set it apart,
creating an experience that feels both intimate and hauntingly strategic.

When we joined the project, the challenge was clear: translate this layered, atmospheric game into a cinematic teaser
that stays true to its tone while expanding its visual language beyond the screen. Working in collaboration with
BluBlu Studios, we set out to craft a piece that would feel as tactile and emotionally charged as the game itself.

We chose a fully traditional 2D cel animation approach, embracing the imperfections, texture, and expressive
power of hand-drawn visuals. Complex FX animation, dynamic camera movement, and carefully staged compositions
allowed us to elevate the pixel-art world into something more fluid and cinematic, without losing its raw, graphic identity.
The result is a stylized teaser that bridges game and film - capturing the spirit of Death Howl while celebrating
the craft of handcrafted animation.
