UV-C is the strongest form of ultraviolet light and is used to create hydroxyl radicals and other powerful oxidants to eliminate odors and destroy pathogens both in the air and on surfaces or contents of a room, including areas that are hard to reach with conventional cleaning methods. UV-C has been used for years in hospitals and operating rooms for cleaning and disinfection. Airbotx technology includes the added usage of HEPA filtration to capture airborne particulates like dust, mold spores, pathogens, etc.
