Learn how to set up, manage, and use AI Fit Finder in your Shopify store. Follow simple steps to configure the app, add products, create size guides, and adjust widget settings for a better shopping experience. This guide helps store owners understand each part of AI Fit Finder, from initial setup to product assignment and size guide creation. It is designed to make the app easy to use so you can give shoppers accurate size help and keep your setup aligned with your store.
Choose a monthly plan based on your needs. Each plan includes different features for your widget.
Enable AI Size from the App embeds section in your Shopify theme editor, then click Save in the top-right corner.
Go to the AI Recommender page, and click on Create new recommender.
select the audience that best matches your products and target customers. Choose from options such as Men, Women, Unisex Adults, Boys Kids & Teens, Girls Kids & Teens, or Unisex Kids & Teens, then click Next to continue.
Choose the product category that matches the items you want to recommend sizes for. Available categories include Top Wear, Bottom Wear, Innerwear, Swimwear, Activewear/Gymwear, Sleepwear/Sets, Full Body, and Footwear.
Make sure the values are accurate because AI Fit Finder uses this data to recommend the best size to shoppers. Once all size measurements are added, click Next to continue.
Assign products to your AI Recommender by selecting Specific Products, Specific Collections, or All Products. For the best recommendation accuracy, we recommend assigning products individually, so AI Fit Finder can match each product with the correct size configuration. Once you have assigned the desired products or collections, click Next to continue.
Select the product you want to configure, then click Assign Size Guide to connect the correct size guide with that product. After assigning the size guide, review the selection and click Next to continue.
Step 1: Go to the Smart Size Guides page and click Create Size Guide to start creating a new size guide for your products.
Step 2: Select your preferred audience and product category for the size guide, such as Men, Women, Unisex Adults, Top Wear, Bottom Wear, Activewear/Gymwear, Footwear, or any other category that matches your products.
Step 3: Select the product type for your size guide, add a clear size guide title, and choose whether the size guide should be Published or Unpublished. In the Apply to Products section, assign the size guide to specific products, collections, or all products based on where you want it to appear.
Step 4: Add the size guide tab title that will appear on your product page, then upload any helpful images and add custom text to guide shoppers with sizing instructions, fit notes, measurement tips, or brand-specific size guidance.
Step 5: Add your product measurements for each size in the measurement table, such as chest, waist, length, or any other required parameters. You can enter the values manually or use the Import CSV option to upload measurements in bulk and save time.
Step 6: You can add custom HTML code to include extra content, styling, or brand-specific instructions in your size guide. You can also enable and customize the fit scale bar to show shoppers how the product fits, such as Small, Normal, or Large.
Step 7: You can create multiple size guide tabs for different sizing details, fit instructions, measurement notes, or product-specific guidance by clicking Add Another Tab.
Step 1: If you have already created your AI Recommender and Smart Size Guide but still need to assign them to products directly, go to the Products page and click Add Products or Add Collections to connect them with the correct products on your store.
Step 2: After adding products, assign the correct Audience, Category, Product Type, and Size Guide for each product, then click Save Changes to apply the setup. You can also use the bulk edit options to update multiple products together and save time.
Step 3: Select one or more products using the checkbox, then click Bulk Edit to update product details such as Audience, Category, Product Type, Size Guide, or AI Recommender settings for multiple products at once.
Step 4: In the Bulk Edit pop-up, assign the required Audience, Category, Product Type, and Size Guide to the selected products, then click Apply to update all selected products at once.
Step 1: In the Widget Labels section, you can customize all widget button names and messages according to your preferences. Update labels such as the Size Guide Button, Size Chart Button, Result Button Label, and No Match Message to match your store’s branding and provide a more personalized shopping experience for your customers.
Step 2: In the Button Visibility section, you can enable or disable widget buttons based on your store’s needs. Turn options such as the Size Recommender Button, Size Chart Button, and I Know My Measurements Button on or off to control which actions shoppers can see on your product pages.
Step 3: In the Storefront Analytics section, you can add your Google Analytics 4 (GA4) measurement ID or Google Tag Manager (GTM) key to track shopper activity from the AI Fit Finder widget. This helps you monitor widget interactions, size recommendation usage, and customer engagement on your storefront.
Step 4: In the Unit Preferences section, you can choose the measurement units displayed in the widget for shopper inputs. Select your preferred Height Unit and Weight Unit to match your store’s sizing standards and provide a familiar experience for your customers.
Step 5: In the Color Scheme section, you can customize the widget’s appearance by setting the Background Color, Button Color, Button Font Color, and Border Color to match your store’s branding and create a consistent shopping experience.
Step 6: In the Button Appearance and Widget Appearance sections, you can customize the look and feel of the AI Fit Finder widget by adjusting settings such as padding and border radius for both buttons and the widget. These options help you match the widget design to your store’s branding and overall theme.
Step 7: In the Widget Position section, you can choose where the AI Recommender widget appears on the screen. Select either Center or Right Side to position the widget in a way that best matches your store layout and customer experience.
Step 8: In the Additional CSS section, you can add your custom CSS code to further customize the widget design. Once added, the CSS will automatically apply to the AI Fit Finder widget on your storefront.
Step 9: In the Brand Settings section, you can enable the brand list feature and manage brands based on specific product categories and genders. You can also reorder brands by dragging and dropping them or updating their position numbers to control the sequence in which brands appear in the widget.
Step 10: In the Country Size Options section, you can enable country-specific sizing and choose which size systems to display in the brand selector, such as US, UK, AU, EU, and JP. You can also set a default country that will be pre-selected for shoppers when using the brand and size matching feature.
Step 1: Go to the Widget Language page and click Add Language to add your preferred language for the widget. Once added, you can manage the language status, edit translations, and set a default language for your storefront.
Step 2: On the Edit Language page, update the widget text, labels, buttons, messages, and other language strings based on your preferred translation, then click Save Translations to apply your changes.
To give staff access, go to Settings > Users > Add users. In the Email field, store owners must enter this email address: support@aifitfinderapp.com. Once the email is added, the Add button will become active. Click Add, then assign the required role with limited permissions such as Theme edit, Manage app access, and Products view only. Without adding this email address, the access setup cannot be completed.
