I cross posted about these on monlarvae, but they are not just for the preggerz chicks!  Haramaki, or belly warmers, are an awesome Japanese clothing item that are worn to keep your tummy nice and cozy AND are a fun fashion item.  I know it's just a simple swath of fabric, but it's one of the most brilliant clothing items I've heard of in a long time.  Utilitarian AND they look like cute tank tops under a shirt..  SO FOR THE WIN!

I will be embarking this weekend on a mission- to make myself some cute Haramaki using this pattern.  I'll let you all know the results.  I think it'll be fabulous!
