Welcome! The D'Azzo Research library offers a variety of comfortable spaces for collaboration, quiet study, group study, meetings and instruction.
The first floor contains a large number of comfortable study chairs & tables for for quiet or group study, as well as a computer classroom for instruction and classes.
The second and third floors contain conference rooms, study rooms, AFIT computers, and quiet study cubicles.

Computer Access: The entire library offers FREE WI-FI. The library has AFIT networked computers located on the first and second floors. We also have AFNET networked computers, one located in the Collaboration room, and six located on the first table nearest the front desk (1st floor). No need to sign up, CAC required.
**The library does not have public access computers.**
The library has two conference rooms, one located on the second floor and one on the third floor, along the west facing wall. Each conference room can seat up to 10 people. Each room has a presenter's podium with an AFIT networked computer, a telephone for conference calls, a projector & projector screen. HDMI cables are available @ the front desk to connect your laptop to the projector. There are also two dry erase boards in each conference room. Please note: the conference rooms do not have Microsoft Hubs.
The Computer Classroom contains AFIT 20 networked computers (afit.edu) with comfortable ergonomic chairs. The classroom can seat up to 20 people with computers for instruction, but there is additional seating if needed without computers. The classroom has a Microsoft Hub, presenter's podium with a projector & projector screen, as well as a large dry erase board. HDMI cables are available @ the front desk to connect your laptop to the Hub. Classroom always open for use when not reserved/in session.
The library has printing available on both the first and second floor. Scanners are available on the first floor. A binding machine, laminating machine, hole punchers, and heavy duty staplers are available in the Student Services Room (1st floor). All supplies, from dry erase markers to staplers to document covers, are kept at the front desk, just ask!

The new Center for Innovation in Education, located within the library on the 1st floor, offers space for collaboration, team meetings, and individual work stations. In-person or virtual consultation and collaboration appointments are also offered to students, faculty, and staff. Please see the CIE (AFIT Sharepoint) site for more information.
Up on the 3rd floor of the Library, in room 330, we have two reservable flight simulators. Station 01 is a traditional large screen display, and Station 02 has a VR setup.
The second and third floors offer private study rooms that can seat up to six people. The study rooms are located along the north facing wall. They are first come, first serve. Each room has two dry erase boards. Markers and supplies for the dry erase boards are kept at the front desk. If you need a projector, we have two portable projectors for check out, please see the front desk.
Need a place to study with your peers? The library has plenty of study tables located on the first floor. You will also find study tables away from the main area in the Collaboration room, also located on the first floor. If you need a place for discussion or instruction we suggest finding a study room or the Collaboration room to help keep noise levels in the main area low.
The library offers many spaces for quiet study. The first floor has study tables throughout, as well as comfortable leather chairs for some rest and relaxation. On the second and third floor you will find individual study carrels for more privacy, and comfortable lounge chairs. On the second floor, along the west wall, there are private cubicles with AFIT networked computers and a central printer.

Welcome new mothers! The library has a newly built lactation room located on the first floor near the library bathroom. The lactation room provides a sink, counter top space, end table, as well as a comfortable chair for sitting and relaxing.
