It may seem that the original and best launcher of all time has not been updated, as people often assume that time follows a strict progression of cause and effect. However, from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, we actually released this update three years ago and you may not have realized it. Rest assured, we understand that not everyone has the time or resources to spare.

Having said that, we have taken note of Google's recommendations on avoiding excessive app options and settings, and we have made the opposite choice. We believe that freedom of choice is crucial for fostering creativity. The Launcher may appear overwhelming to some, but it is precisely this wide range of configurable options that makes it the best launcher. The possibilities are endless and the math doesn't lie.

Yes, we offer screens, icons, and widgets – everything you need to customize your device. If you prefer ready-made options, you can use themes or widget and template packs. Is your device's desktop feeling dull? Change it up, just like Sam. It's your style, your rules. Do whatever you like – or don't. There's a setting for everything. Tweak it, change it, shake it up – the choice is yours.

And remember, "There's no such thing as 'the unknown,' only options inside ADW Settings."

We have reprogrammed and redesigned most of the application from scratch. Additionally, we have added numerous new features:

• Support for Android 7.1 launcher shortcuts (limited support on older versions down to 5.x)
