AI Coding Assistant
Advanced File Manager enables you integrate AI into the editor, allowing the AI to assist with your code. You can choose to share the entire file or only specific parts with the AI.
Let’s Get Started
- In your WordPress dashboard, go to Advanced File Manager > AI Integration.
- Check the box to enable AI Integration.
- Paste your API key for your AI.
- Click Test API Key to verify your key’s validity and establish a connection with it.
- Click Save Changes to save the changes you have made.
Using AI with AFM Code Editor
- Open any file in the Advanced File Manager editor, by right-clicking the file and selecting the code editor.
- In the code editor, click on the afm icon.
- By default, the AI cannot access your file. To allow the chatbot to work with the file’s code, enable the toggle. This will let the AI view and assist with the entire file.
- If you don’t wish to send the entire file, keep the toggle off, click on the specific part you want the AI to access, and only that part will be sent.
Note: The accuracy and quality of the response you receive will depend on the chatbot you are using and the prompt you provide.
