About us
At ADR Center, we believe the future of dispute resolution is faster, fairer, and more accessible. For over 27 years, we've helped to manage conflicts outside the courtroom—more than 70,000 times. Today, we’re building the next generation of alternative dispute resolution (ADR). Certified as a B Corp and accredited under the EU’s Digital Services Act, we combine global experience with innovation in resolving simple and complex disputes around the world and partnering with governments and companies to design smarter, more digital ways to resolve conflict and expand access to justice worldwide.
Our Journey: 27 Years of Leadership in Mediation
It all began on a hot afternoon on August 1, 1998, in front of a notary in Italy. ADR Center was founded with a bold idea, almost radical for its time: what if people and businesses could resolve even the most complex disputes outside of court, through dialogue, with the help of a neutral mediator? At the time, it felt like planting a seed in rocky ground. The legal world was firmly centered on the courts, and no one was really asking for mediation.
We offered an excellent service, but not a market. So we rolled up our sleeves and started creating one. We knocked on doors, explained, trained, listened. We made mistakes—many. But we learned, adapted, and continued. The real driving force was our fantastic team: mediators, case managers, and staff who believed so deeply in the mission that they showed up, day after day, mediation after mediation.
It wasn’t a glamorous time, nor was it easy. But slowly, we began to grow. Today, looking back, we see that journey for what it was: a determined human effort to change the way the world resolves conflicts, one mediation at a time.

What we believe in today
Much has changed since that summer day in 1998. Today, ADR Center is a global force in mediation and dispute resolution, trusted by individuals, businesses, lawyers, and institutions around the world. Over the years, we have maintained a core belief: that conflict, when managed skillfully and thoughtfully, can lead to transformation.
We are proud to be the first certified B Corp mediation provider, in recognition of our commitment to social impact, transparency, and ethical business practices. But our greatest strength lies in our people: a diverse international team of mediators, trainers, case managers, and technology professionals, all driven by the same mission: to make dispute resolution more accessible, fair, and effective.
ADR Center has evolved into three interconnected divisions: ADR Solve, our primary engine for delivering expert mediation services; ADR Academy, where we train the next generation of conflict resolution professionals; and ADR Policies, which works with governments and institutions to build robust mediation ecosystems worldwide. We are also among the first alternative dispute resolution (ODS) providers certified by the European Commission under the Digital Services Act (DSA), authorized to handle disputes between users and large online platforms. Our headquarters are in Rome, with a branch in Dubai and a network of over 80 offices worldwide.
Our future in dispute resolution
After 27 years, you might expect us to slow down. Instead, we feel like we’re just getting started. Experience has given us depth, but it’s our startup mentality that keeps us hungry: curious, agile, and constantly pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in conflict resolution.
We’ve seen firsthand, thousands of times, how a single conversation can change the course of a dispute. Now, imagine what’s possible when that human understanding is amplified by the power of technology, artificial intelligence, and data. This is the future we’re building: a world where mediators and technology work hand in hand to make conflict resolution smarter, faster, and more accessible than ever before—anywhere, anytime, and in any language.
Our vision is global and profoundly human: to help resolve the unresolved, across languages, cultures, and borders. We’re not chasing trends; we’re setting the direction. Because the next generation of dispute resolution isn’t just digital. It’s personal. It’s scalable. And it’s long been expected.
