African Diamond Producers Association

The African Diamond Producers Association (ADPA) is an intergovernmental organization comprising Africa’s leading diamond-producing nations. It represents their collective interests and works to enhance the continent’s influence in the global diamond market. ADPA’s mission is to help its member states and observers realize their full potential through coordinated cooperation, supportive policies, and technical advancements across the diamond value chain. In pursuit of this mission, ADPA promotes transparency, responsible and sustainable mining practices, and community-centered initiatives that improve livelihoods in member countries. By fostering knowledge-sharing and collaboration, the Association seeks not only to affirm Africa as the world’s primary source of rough diamonds, but also to position it as a key leader shaping the future of the global diamond industry.

Shaping Africa’s Diamond Future

It is with profound gratitude and a deep sense of purpose that I send this message at the threshold of a transformative era for the African Diamond Producers Association (ADPA). Since our founding in 2006, ADPA has stood as a platform of unity and mutual empowerment for Africa’s diamond-producing nations, nurturing a collective vision where our diamonds shine not only as sources of beauty, but as enduring emblems of dignity, hope, and boundless African potential.
