2. Location

  Hackathon hosted at Netaji Subhas University of Technology in Delhi

3. Eligibility

  • Current NSUT students only.
   Teams of 2–4 members (no solo entries).
   Teams must attend the in-person hackathon at Netaji Subhas University of Technology, Delhi on January 16+17, 2026

4. Pre-Hackathon Team Selection Process

   Participation is limited to 200 students.
   To be selected to participate in this event, your team must:

       Form a team of 2–4 members.
       Have the team lead submit your pitch by December 12, 2026.
       Pitch should include:
           Why you want to participate
           Your team’s expertise
           Your initial idea for an Adobe Express add-on
           What makes your team stand out
  
Selected teams will be announced on DevPost and invited to a virtual kickoff workshop on January 8.

At the workshop, we’ll share detailed prize categories, judging criteria, and event logistics. Selected teams will also receive a one-month Cursor license to use before and during the event.

5. Event Rules

   Duration: ~24 hours at NSUT campus on January 16th+17th, 2026.
   Freshly built: Projects must be newly created for this event. No pre-built projects or existing codebases.
   No early hacking: Planning and exploring the Adobe Express platform beforehand is encouraged, but all coding and implementation must occur during the hackathon window.
   One project per team.
   Permitted resources:
       Open-source libraries, third-party APIs, and general tooling related to web development.
       AI-assisted tools are allowed and encouraged, especially the Adobe Express Add-on Dev MCP Server.
   Devices: Teams bring their own hardware.
   Accounts: Teams register their own (free) Adobe Express accounts.

6. Submission process

Submit your project on DevPost before the onsite deadline. There will be reminder announcements at the event.

   Fill out project submission form
   Provide demo video (~3 minutes) recorded during the event
   Screenshots and supporting materials optional but helpful
   Submissions must be in English

7. Judging 

   Detailed prize info and judging announced at January 8th kick-off workshop
   Judges evaluate and discuss projects
   Winners announced and prizes awarded on January 17th around 2:00PM 

8. Prizes

  • Six projects will win hardware prizes for each team member (one per challenge).
   Additional prizes: LinkedIn recommendations for standout use of AI-assisted coding tools and exclusive AMA sessions for teams providing valuable feedback.

9. Code of Conduct

All participants and must follow the Code of Conduct:
   Be respectful and inclusive.
   No harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate content.
   Violations may result in removal from the event.
   Organizers may disqualify teams for rule violations or disruptive behavior.
   Organizer decisions are final.
