To create a 2D checkers game with additional game libraries in Adobe Director 11.5, you'll need to follow these general steps:

  1. Familiarize Yourself with Director: Make sure you are comfortable using Adobe Director 11.5 and understand its interface and features.

  2. Design Your Game Assets: Create or source the 2D graphics you need for the game, such as the board, pieces, and any other visual elements.

  3. Understand Lingo: Adobe Director uses a scripting language called Lingo. You will need to use Lingo to program the logic for your game, including the rules of checkers, piece movement, and capturing.

  4. Utilize Libraries: Look for additional libraries or Xtras that can help you with game development in Director 11.5. These might include libraries for enhanced graphics, sound, or physics.

  5. Create Game Logic: Write the scripts to define how the game will function. This includes setting up the board, handling user input, checking for legal moves, and implementing game rules.

  6. Test Your Game: Continuously test your game to ensure that it works as expected. Debug any issues that you encounter during development.

  7. Finalize and Package your Game: Once your game is complete and tested, package it using Director’s publishing tools so others can play it.

No, it's not possible to convert or export the movies created in Adobe Director to the HTML5 language. There was a discussion on the Adobe blog to implement HTML5 across all the products, but it's not specified when. When a user needs to convert an Adobe Director file to the HTML5 language, it contacts other web designers that have the necessary skills and knowledge to do it or they simply use Odesk or Freelance websites to look for someone who can do it.

I want to edit your own animated movies and publish into the Adobe Projector, and also creates an .zip archive file in the Adobe Director software. Give me to do it, to do like an animated movie for Finding Nemo.

Answer by Ashish Bajaj

the question is in English, though it is slightly difficult to understand due to grammatical errors.

As for your question about Adobe Director:

Adobe Director is an older multimedia application used for creating and publishing interactive games and animations. If you want to create an animated movie similar to “Finding Nemo” and publish it using Adobe Projector and create a .zip archive, follow these general steps:

  1. Create Your Animation: Use Adobe Director to import graphics, sound, and interactive elements to create your animation. You can utilize Director’s timeline and scripting language, Lingo, to animate and control your movie.

  2. Publish with Adobe Projector: Once your animation is complete, you can publish it using the Adobe Projector so it can be played independently of Director. Go to “File” > “Publish” and select the option for Adobe Projector.

  3. Create a .zip Archive: After publishing, locate your Adobe Projector file on your computer. Use a compression tool like WinZip, 7-Zip, or Windows built-in compression utility to create a .zip file containing the Projector file and any associated assets.

Note that creating an animated movie like "Finding Nemo," which is a professionally made 3D animated film, would require advanced skills in animation and possibly different software like Adobe After Effects or Autodesk Maya for 3D animation. Adobe Director is more suited for simpler 2D animations and interactive content.
