A note to friends old and new:
- I'm really bad at 'commentsations' (otherwise known as comment conversations). That is to say, I usually reply to every comment left on my journal once and comment on my friends' entries as I see fit, but I'm not very good at replying to replies to replies (...). If I happen to suddenly drop out of a commentsation, don't take it personally - I'm just socially handicapped that way. ;)
- I can't, and likely won't, read all of your fanfic. :/ My current fandoms are so prolific right now, it is absolutely unthinkable. Don't take offense if I overlook your work, and if you really would like me to have a look when I have a spare moment, don't hesitate to link me specifically.

The nays have it! I wasn't a fan of the non-customizable twitter recaps posts, either. But what was killing me is, I remember importing tweets and being able (years ago) to put them ALL under a cut. Mystery solved: turns out I was using LoudTwitter, which would let me specify the frequency and content of posts, and also now happens to be unquestionably dead. Oh well. I can go back to protected tweets now! Forgive and forget? :D

[House finale]House, 8x22: Everybody Dies
OMG OMG. Umm, I was terrified of watching this episode. Terrified.
So at first I was like: do we really have to deal with a patient in this episode? Do we really have to deal with a disjointed chronology (obviously not my favorite device)? And then I realized, hmm, not enough Wilson! DOES HE NOT DIE TODAY OMG? I mean, it was confusing as fuck up until the reveal that House is heroin-tripping.
It was awesome to see Kutner, Amber and Stacey(!) again, I gotta say. (I still hate that Kutner died at all, not getting over it ever. LOL SO BITTER STILL.) Cameron not so much, though I do think it's awesome Jennifer Morrison got a chance to be there. I know this doesn't make sense, I just have such tremendous issues with the character. I loved House's little dejected "is this hell" when Cameron appears, albeit his representation of her is still hung up on him. LMAO.
Wilson loves House so much, you guys, it's really heartbreaking. THAT WHOLE PART FROM "WHAT ABOUT LOVE" (STACEY) TO "I NEED TO DO THIS, FOR YOU." (WILSON) OH MY GODS I CAN'T EVEN EVER EVER. I don't want to think about five months later, because THEY ARE GETTING THESE FIVE MONTHS AND OMG THAT IS LITERALLY ALL THAT MATTERS. House has basically burned his entire worldscope down to one person. ("We aren't the only two people who could love you.")
I mean, obviously, House will off himself because what else can he do? I don't necessarily believe his choice to live some more affirms anything more than wanting this time Wilson. Evidently, anything past that was sacrificed when he faked his death. And just the fact that he went for the heroin when faced with the possibility of losing Wilson immediately says so much already. This man is NOT ABLE to function, NOR WILLING, without Wilson at his side. It's a fucking tragedy, I tell you.
OKAY SO. The funeral scene and montage. I was crying, ngl. I kind of love how in the end, almost everyone's lives were bettered for having worked with House (except Cuddy's, LOL HUDDIES U MAD? #immatureparentheticals). I love so much that Foreman offered Chase the DDX department head position, and I love so much that Chase took it. ♥ Good apples, 'dem kids. And then it's a little odd that Cameron is back at PPTH but whatever, odder still that she married a Chase-lite type guy. You know what, though? I'mma keep quietly shipping (FOREVER LOL) Chase/Park and praise the heavens that Chase/OdetteAnnable (I MEAN IDEK HER CHARACTER NAME!) never became an actual thing. Heh!
So I was crying at the funeral, and then House texts Wilson and OMG OMG THAT ASSHOLE OMG I WAS LAUGHING AS I CRIED IDEK WHAT MY EMOTIONS WERE DOING. SOMETHING LIKE SOMMERSAULTS, FOR SURE. OMGGGGGGS! I can't get over the fact that only Wilson KNOWS. Foreman might suspect, but only Wilson gets to know, to live, to everything else. Be still, my heart! ♥
I just.. asgvfhgaklshbjka!! I was so prepared for this show to break my soul in its final hours, I was so ready to figuratively burn David Shore at the Tim Kring stake, but instead I was completely swept off my feet. House and Wilson got to ride together into the quasi-sunset and Chase is the rightful heir. FOR THE FUCKING WIN.

Ha, it seems I only ever update about Hawaii Five-0 anymore! Man, this new(?) HTML editor font is jarring. Work is super-crazycakes at the moment because we're in the middle of report card season AND the kindergarten team have to plan for our Halloween celebration on Friday. O DEER, INDEED! Making masks tomorrow, hopefully. On top of which, there's this little thing called the World Series that's keeping me up way past reasonable bed time most nights, and basically I'm a huge mess this week.
