I'm doing an Advanced Trauma Life Support course next week. There's a 366 page manual to read which is, by and large, quite dull. The best sentence so far is: "Do not leave unattended patients close to campfires". I think I might have to take a campfire into work with me just so I can carefully not leave any patients near it.

What is it about the drivers round here that makes them think indicators are obsolete and that they can stop *anywhere* on the road as long as they switch their hazards on?
As if it wasn't bad enough already what with the crazy dual carriageways that abruptly divide into two completely different roads, the baffling placement of bollards, the enormous roundabouts with no lane markings, cyclists with no lights and, of course, drunk pedestrians staggering in front of you at 2am.
Grrrrr.

I'm in a bad mood. I'm trying to move house for the second time in two months. It's not going well. And the new place does not have internet.

"Examination of the throat revealed scared tonsils"
I suspect they meant "scarred"...

It's very very cold in this room.
I stroked pygmy goats and saw lions yesterday. It was good.
I can't work out what I should be doing this weekend. My brain is too cold to think.
