Strategic Clarity. Scientifically Fluent.
We speak science
Adduci Studios is a creative agency built for the complexities of the life sciences. With over 25 years of experience in biotech and pharma, we bridge the gap between technical rigor and strategic communication. We are more than designers; we are scientific translators who excel at crafting narratives that resonate with investors and partners alike. From brand infrastructure to high-stakes investor decks, we design the clarity that drives life science growth.

Bridging discovery & adoption
We know these audiences rarely speak the same language—our role is to translate technical rigor into a meaningful connection that drives progress.

Unlocking market potential
By translating complex concepts into structured, compelling communications, we help life-changing innovations overcome the “Complexity Gap” and reach those who need them most.
The Adduci Studios Team
Small by design, working with Adduci Studios means you get the strategic depth of a large agency with the direct principal-level access of a boutique firm. When projects require additional bandwidth, or specific technical expertise, we design a custom team to meet those needs. This way, you get the best of two worlds, accessibility and expertise.

Paula Adduci is the founder of Adduci Studios and has spent her career at the intersection of scientific rigor and strategic design. With a Master’s in Applied Medical Science (UIC) and degrees in Biology, Chemistry, and Fine Arts (Purdue), she serves as a critical liaison for life science innovators. Paula is a specialist in translating complex technical milestones into clear, high-stakes narratives for the lab and the boardroom.
With over three decades of experience, Paula has been at the vanguard of the industry’s evolution—from pioneering the first wave of scientific graphic integration on the web to leading the digital transition in scientific illustration. Her career is defined by “dual-fluency”: an unwavering commitment to scientific accuracy paired with a veteran’s eye for compelling visual communication.
At Adduci Studios, she architects the brand infrastructure and narrative clarity necessary to move life-changing science from discovery to successful market adoption.
Stephen handles much of the design direction and creative strategy at Adduci Studios. He specializes in brand development, and illustration and has over 25 years experience designing creative solutions for clients across a wide landscape of markets. Interestingly, he was trained as a technical artist back when things were still done with pen, ink and brush.
Stephen wakes up ridiculously early most days to train in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and spends entirely too much time collecting and reading about mechanical wristwatches, which he justifies by saying he is studying good design.
Kate knows how to make brands shine and projects run like a well-oiled machine! With a proven knack for crafting smart, integrated marketing strategies across multiple platforms, she’s driven growth and awareness for businesses big and small. Whether working agency-side or client-side, Kate’s tackled projects for major players like Best Buy, Hyatt Hotels, Boca Raton Regional Hospital, Microsoft, Vail Health Hospital, Vail Resorts, and Volkswagen, as well as a host of smaller groups.
Kate graduated from Denison University with a degree in Communication. Outside of work, she is a busy mom to two amazing daughters and fuels her love for adventure by hiking and skiing.
Tamala has been supporting small business owners since 1998, back when dinosaurs roamed the internet and AOL proudly announced “you’ve got mail!” Over the past 20+ years in the online business space, she’s excelled in strategic project management, online business strategy, and marketing implementation. As a member of the Adduci Studios team, she brings all of this expertise to the table to help our clients’ projects run smoothly and efficiently.
Zanoni was raised in a small town in Brazil, and has been hard at work since 2014. He is a passionate graphic designer who likes to make things simple but significant. He has been creating for over a decade, always focusing on what matters: the solution. When not working you can find him traveling the world, sailing or playing tennis. “Life is there to be lived.”
Carla has worked with Adduci Studios for 20 years. In the early days, she was a project manager, helped write contracts, worked on financial matters and actively worked with the principals on client projects. These days, she is more behind the scenes, assisting with internal operations.
Carla practiced law in the 1980s, taught high school government and economics in the 1980s and 90s and in 2001, started a non-profit through which she writes and sells curriculum for those subjects.
In her non-working time, she enjoys training in the martial art of Aikido, being active in Toastmasters and singing in the choir.
