I was reading something earlier that mentioned best covers of songs. Now this is obviously completely subjective. There are a few songs that seem to be universally agreed upon that the cover is better than the original, but usually there is room for debate.

The only thing we're not debating: Zeppelin. I'm sorry but no Zeppelin cover is ever better than the original. Ever. Unless you're Jeff Buckley, but he doesn't really cover Zeppelin so we won't worry about that.

Join nostalk_graphic - a multifandom community free of paparazzi images. Enjoy icons, banners, headers, fanart and other images created by legitimate photos only. Help to lessen the fan-created demand for the unethical images provided by the stalkerazzi.

I'm thinking of making a comm for graphics that are 100% pap pic free. Would there be interest in this?

Operation don't support paparazzi fueled media outlets is proving tricky. Cutting out sites like laineygossip etc. are easy and I haven't visited Perez for years because he's a douche, but the pap pics still show up on my f-list feed and will most likely continue to. I just won't comment or click.

Still, fellow graphic artists on my f-list - would you be interested in a comm that only supports paparazzi-free graphics for all fandoms (not just Twilight)?

I'm still hoping this idea picks up and grabs hold so that we can make a difference, even if it's a small one.

So I saw some of the x17 pap vids of the paparazzi harassing/stalking/following Rob and it just.. it made me feel sick.

I only watched the vids because I was curious about the police involvement. No kidding, it honestly made me feel sick to my stomach to see all the shit he has to deal with. I mean, he goes to the fucking cops for help and they just watch as he gets hounded when he tries to walk away.

Bloody hell.

I'm officially never going to use pap pics of him for any of my icons etc., ever again. It's just sickening.

I know it's silly to ask, because it won't make a big splash, but I'm asking my f-list to ignore posts with pap pics, not just of Rob, but any celebrity. Don't comment, don't save them, don't make icons from them. The only reason these guys can actually get away with this is because the people want it, and that's where they get their paychecks from. It's the demand from we, the people, that made this. Maybe if enough people ignore them and fight against them something can happen to change this.

Like I said, it's most likely I'm just asking in vain. I mean, Princess Diana died because of paparazzi and it's only gotten crazier and more public since then, but really, it's us - the people - that are responsible for it. As long as we create the demand, they will still be allowed to go out there and harass these poor people.

It's disgusting and I refuse to have any part in it.
