ActiveX 6.0

ActiveX by Selea s.r.l. is a Windows component designed to integrate Selea devices—such as IP cameras and automatic license plate recognition (ALPR/ANPR) systems—into Microsoft Internet Explorer and other Windows applications that support ActiveX controls. It enables live video viewing, basic device control, and the exchange of events and metadata directly within the host application.

Key features:

• Live stream display and snapshots from compatible Selea devices
• Access to device settings and diagnostics (as permitted)
• Support for digital I/O and trigger controls where available
• Retrieval and overlay of metadata (for example, license plate reads) when supported
• API hooks for integration with third-party software

Requirements and notes:

• Windows environment with 32-bit ActiveX support and administrative rights for installation
• Microsoft Internet Explorer or another ActiveX-capable host
• Install only from trusted sources and keep it updated for security
• Since modern browsers have deprecated ActiveX, Selea may provide alternative SDKs or web interfaces for current platforms
