ASL - Privacy policy
When you create an account on Accessibility Standards Canada's website, we collect personal information. This includes your name, email address, mailing address and some optional demographic information. This information is required to give you access to our online services, such as applying to a technical committee or providing feedback on draft standards.
We use your information for the following purposes:

Personal Information collected by Accessibility Standards Canada may be disclosed in accordance with Section 8(2) of the Privacy Act. You have the right to access and correct your personal information. Your personal information will be stored in the relevant Personal Information Bank entitled Public Communications (PSU 914).
You have the right to file a complaint with the Privacy Commissioner of Canada regarding Accessibility Standards Canada's handling of your personal information at: Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
