About

CertifiedAutismCenter.com is powered by the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES), the global leader in autism, cognitive differences, and accessibility training and certification.

For over two decades, IBCCES has set the industry standard for training and certification in autism, neurodiversity, and accessibility. Our comprehensive certification programs empower professionals to become leaders in their fields while improving outcomes for the individuals they serve.

With programs recognized in more than 111 countries worldwide, IBCCES has established the leading benchmark for autism, cognitive differences, and accessibility training on a global scale.

Beyond individual certification programs, IBCCES collaborates with cities and organizations through innovative initiatives, including the Autism Certified City™ (ACC) and Certified Autism Center™ programs. These certifications ensure that autistic and sensory-sensitive residents and visitors experience welcoming, safe environments with helpful accommodations.

A Certified Autism Center™ (CAC) is a facility or organization where at least 80% of staff are trained and certified in autism and sensory awareness to better serve autistic individuals, those with cognitive differences, and sensory sensitivities.

The Autism Certified City™ (ACC) designation builds upon the CAC foundation by extending IBCCES training and certification across a city with essential community sectors becoming certified including public safety, education, healthcare, and workplace environments.

IBCCES created CertifiedAutismCenter.com to help families easily access valuable information and certified resources.

Parent of child on the spectrum

After so many years of learning how to integrate our 15-year old son with autism into our community, it is refreshing to witness society becoming more aware of how hard we work to provide the same type of recreation and entertainment families without special needs enjoy. I really applaud the organizations who go above and beyond to become trained and certified in autism and other special needs.
