ACBSP™ Appointment of Executive Director Announcement

Dear ACBSP™ Members and Colleagues, 

On behalf of the Board of Directors, I am pleased to announce the appointment of Anthony D. Brown, MBA, as Executive Director of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians™, effective February 23, 2026. 

Following a deliberate and comprehensive search process, the Board selected Mr. Brown based on his extensive healthcare executive leadership experience and demonstrated ability to guide organizations through operational modernization, strategic growth, and systems integration. He brings more than 15 years of senior-level leadership across multi-site healthcare organizations, including service as Chief Executive Officer and executive oversight of technology, mergers and acquisitions, and organizational restructuring. 

Mr. Brown holds a Master of Business Administration from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Informatics. His background in operational efficiency, financial stewardship, and healthcare systems leadership positions him well to support the continued advancement of the ACBSP™. 

This appointment comes at an important time for our organization. With the recent adoption of the 2026-2029 Strategic Plan, the ACBSP™ has established clear priorities focused on credentialing excellence, governance strengthening, financial sustainability, and organizational growth. Anthony will work collaboratively with the Board of Directors, committee leadership, and our national office to help implement these priorities and enhance the operational infrastructure that supports our members and stakeholders. 

In the coming weeks, Anthony will formally introduce himself and share his perspective on opportunities ahead. I am confident that his leadership experience and commitment to organizational excellence will contribute meaningfully to the ACBSP™’s continued progress and long-term stability.
