A burning bridge that's so misleading

Recently, I've been thinking about a way to improve my art. It has always been the same, and lately, I have become less and less satisfied with it. There was seemingly no solution to help me improve it, or even motivate me to create more art. And with all the things going wrong in my life these days, the pain that caused my dissatisfaction with my art was a lot to take, when taking into account all the other things I have to deal with. This art block, it was like a dead-end, an endless pit, and I thought I could never pull myself out of it.

One day, red-recalescence, a friend of mine, told me that she was going to start a 100 theme challenge. I mentionned that I've always wanted to do such a thrilling experience, though never dared to start such an overwhelming challenge. She said that if I wanted a simpler challenge, there was one: a 30 days challenge, Pokemon-themed. The rules of the challenge are simple: you have to draw one picture per day, each with a particular theme. For example, day 01 would be "Your favorite Pokemon".

There is nothing I could get out of this thing but benefits, I thought. At most, I will fail to do it everyday and that will be the end of it. This will certainly be a chance for me to improve a bit.

Thus, I began the 30 days challenge. So far, I have done 6 drawings for the 6 days that I've passed. Today is the 7th day. If you want to follow the challenge via my DA, here it is. If you want to see the drawings I've made so far, follow the cut.

To start off this journal over again, here are some pictures that I drew of Gold/Silver from pokémon. They can be old, or newer...so please excuse me if some of them are really ugly!
