This journal comes & goes. I guess I've been in LJ for way too long that I just can't abandon it even if I want to.

Comment where we met, and if we have any shared hobbies then we'll see where that takes us. ;]
(Plus points if you're a DBSK fan. I'm pretty sure we'll get along very well, lmao.)
As a general rule, I don't friend empty journals. All comments are screened.

All previously posted fiction in this LJ are now locked. Old fics are still in the process of being archived in my fic journal & it might take a while. (I don't want to spam. D:)

Okay, so everyone on my t-list knows that I had a blast, and maybe a seizure-like spazzfest, when I went to the JYJ concerts in Los Angeles and San Jose. I had rrreally awesome seats especially for the Los Angeles concert (front row, center, VIP seat courtesy of concert buddy, readyforever ♥). And while my San Jose seat wasn't as awesome (seriously, idk how I can ever beat the LA seat), the people that I met and the experience itself more than made up for it. (Yoochun's birthday! The birthday cake/song! The amazing fan-organized Mickey headbands! The JYJ interactions!)

I won't turn this into a fan account (I'll make that later in a more private post for my friends to save myself the embarrassment), but I do present pictures! TONS OF PICTURES!

A little bit of warning though: the pictures are still pretty big (1200x800) even after I've resized them. I've only chosen some pictures per part so that it doesn't kill your internet and the rest of the pictures are in zipped files. Enjoy! :D

2011 - jyj in san joseCollapse )

Parts ii & iii should be up by the end of this week since I'm already editing them. I've got to say though that part iii is my favorite because of all the awesome things that happened during the later part of the concert. :D

Edit: Parts 2 & 3 are now up as well! Part 2 has more Junsu and Jaejoong pictures while part 3 has more Yoochun (in his Mickey headband) and group/JYJ pictures. Enjoy! :)

shaking, crying, vomiting sparkles and getting a heart attack with some of my favesCollapse )

I, for one, have never been into that whole collegiate, preppy style. But damn, do they make these clothes look good or what?

I like this look on them. Fresh, upbeat without being crazy, and different from what most groups are going for these days. Granted, it's just for a clothing brand promotional shoot, but it really suits them.

During their Japanese album promotions when the group split into 3-2 (Yunho/Jaejoong & Yoochun/Junsu/Changmin) to cover most of Japan:

Yunho: Take care of Junsu.
Yoochun: That might be impossible. :|

LOL.

In lieu of all these chitchat about Ophiuchus (aka the new zodiac sign that screwed up everyone else's zodiac's), I'm posting this Vogue UK editorial as tribute to the classic zodiac signs.

star signsCollapse )

P.S. I WILL FOREVER BE AN ARIES OKAY.

:')
〖I think it is because we have a period when the five of us were happy and which we treasure, that I can now be in a place like this, and because we have these memories that we can now exist as the people we are right now. When viewing the state of this battle going back and forth from a third person’s point of view, it does look ugly. That’s why, at least, we don’t want to pollute the memories that we have within us.〗

2010 had been such a sore for me in real life, but fandom seemed to make it a whole lot better with its shinies. I got to see a lot of Asian acts in a year that it seemed pretty surreal.

I guess the main fandom act of 2010 for me was JYJ's showcase tour in the US. Yea, I enjoyed it even more than SM Town in LA, but that's probably because Yunho & Changmin only got a measly 10 minutes during the entire 4-5 hours concert. Not to say that I didn't enjoy the other acts - BUT GODDAMMIT I WANT MOAR PERFORMANCES FROM YUNHO/CHANGMIN TO SATISFY MY CHANGMIN/DBSK BIAS. (And give the dirty details to my fellow Changwhores aka recycledpeace, _ochre, fragiledays & samloves.)

So. JYJ. I flew in from LA to New York just to see them (ok ok, I was also there to see my bff orangeharo & to unwind from Real Life) then went back to my homebase and saw them again. I would have gone to see them in Vegas, but my schedule was pretty tight during November so I had to pass that up. :[ I was that invested in this whole thing lmao.

I need to write a separate, more detailed fan report about the two showcases because this post would get way too long. Let's just say that in New York: I became a part of the clusterfuck of what they called a line since 12.30pm (doors opened at 8pm), managed to see people fainting (more than the total I've seen in my whole life), swayed with people in the floor seats as if it was an ocean made up of screaming, sweaty bodies, got Junsu's autograph (he was staying about 2-3 rooms down my friend's room *SCREAM*) after losing him the first time (loltastic story involving readyforever), and came out with a Yoochun bias that's as hard as his pimp cane.

I have three major biases in DBSK since way back when: Yoochun, Jaejoong & Changmin. But Yoochun's appearance in NYC kind of made me drool a little bit harder than before. :Q_____

LA was a totally different story. It was a lot more civilized calm, but that's probably because I bought reserved seats instead of floor. I definitely enjoyed the showcase a lot more. By the time it ended, I was just this happy, giddy fangirl wishing for moremoremore! Fucking euphoria.

BUT ANYWAY. Time for the pics! I took these in LA after noticing that they weren't strict with cameras in the New York showcase. Excuse me if some pics are too blurry or grainy. I was either shaking or screaming or a combination of both when those were taken.

WARNING: VERY IMAGE HEAVY. AND MOSTLY OF YOOCHUN lol. The amount of photos that I took of him that night is kind of ridic, actually. The other parts (2 & 3) are kind of more spaced out among the three, but I guess Junsu had the least photos during the whole thing because he.just.wouldn't.stand.still! So most of his pics came out blurry lmao. Sorry duckbutt.

JYJ in LA - PART ICollapse )

That's it for part 1. I'm almost done resizing & watermarking part 2 so that would probably be up by this weekend. Enjoy! (Even though these are late.) :)

Coming soon (aka pics I already posted in twitter): 1 + 2 + 3.
