It's been a really long time since I made an icon post. OOPS. I've been pretty busy recently, especially with college, and so I haven't had a whole lot of time to get any icons made. Also my inspiration is in the toilet, which doesn't help. This might be the last batch of icons for a while. We'll see. Enjoy!

Hello everyone! So I know that very few of you (read: no one) will take me up on this, BUT I am couch-ridden for the next day at least due to getting my wisdom teeth out today. (Which, by the way, is NOT FUN. I am only coherent and reasonably pain-free due to a convenient Percocet prescription from my oral surgeon. Yay for narcotics!) So, here is the idea:

I want YOU (yes, you!) to SPAM ME with medium- or high-quality images of ANYTHING!

I am running out of ideas of things to make icons of, now that I have iconned True Blood to death, but I need something to do tomorrow, as I'm not really coherent enough to read my painfully slow book when I've got holes in my gums and I'm chock-full of pain meds. So if you want me to make an icon of something, or if you have pictures that you think are cool, please post them, and I'll include the icons in my next post, which will probably be reasonably soon. Maybe. SO YES. PLEASE DO THIS, GUYS.

Hey everyone! I've been working on a new batch of icons, and I'm really anxious to post them. Since I just posted a couple of days ago, and I only have about twenty-ish icons, I'm holding off for now. But this got me thinking, and I'm curious as to what your preferences are in terms of posting frequency and the size of posts. So I'm making a poll! Yay polls!

A list of resources (primarily textures) that I use in creating my icons. Unfortunately, due to a computer switch and the death of my old resources post, this list is not all-encompassing, but for recent posts (since July 2010) it is pretty good.

Hello and welcome to abstract_static, the graphics community of colorxmexinsane. I'm Elise. I also post my graphics to cat_kirk along with my friend Kim (assuringlynerdy), but I wanted to create a new community to post my icons, etc. To get a fresh start, I suppose. Besides, Kim doesn't make graphics very much anymore, and I wanted something really active and fun!

That sounded stupid. Alas.

In any case, I'm looking for some really awesome people to join me in my icon making endeavors here at abstract_static. If you're interested in posting your graphics here, comment on this post with the following information, so that I can get a sense of what you're like and what your interests are:
