Chase Hertel is a principal consultant with Access to Justice Ventures, a legal service business model consultancy focused on helping justice tech companies leverage regulatory reform opportunities and increase access to justice. He is also the president and counsel for SimpleCitizen, a technology company that helps individuals and families navigate USCIS immigration processes. Previous to this role, he was a principal with LegalZoom's attorney services team and was the deputy director and counsel of the American Bar Association’s Center for Innovation. Passionate about scaling access to legal help, Chase has dedicated his career to building compliant technology products that bring lawyers and clients together. He is a graduate of Michigan State University College of Law and Missouri State University. Chase is a member of the Legal Services Corporation’s Emerging Leaders Council, the American Bar Association, the Association of Professional Responsibility Lawyers, the National ABS Law Firm Association and the Maryland Bar.
Nic is the CEO & Managing attorney of Big Auto Accident Attorneys. Big Auto is and Arizona ABS law firm that specializes in auto and truck cases. Prior to Big Auto, Nic clerked for the Honorable Sherry Fallon for the United States District Court for the District of Delaware, work as a litigation attorney for Ryley Carlock & Applewhite and Lerner & Rowe both based out of Phoenix, AZ. He now focuses his law practice on helping people seriously injured in car and truck accidents and in leveraging strategic business relationships that support ABS law firms.
He has represented thousands of clients and recovered more than $50 Million Dollars fighting for their injuries and medical bills. A believer in building strong client relationships, Nic enjoys the challenges associated with finding creative solutions for each individual client and case to secure the maximum value for their injuries. He’s also a proud 40 Under 40 member of National Trial Lawyers.
Nic is originally from Vancouver, Canada, but has made Arizona his home. He and his wife Katie have five wonderful sons.
