This is one of the most amazing musical performances I've ever seen, Theresa Andersson's Oh, Mary don't you weep. She accompanies herself in both vocals and violin, live multitracking and looping, the effect is mesmerizing and stunningly beautiful. She has more talent in her toes than most people have in their whole bodies. Watch her feet carefully.

Probably so; Tash's first known recording was several years after the release of Andersson's "Oh Mary." Of course both pay homage to Les Paul and Mary Ford who were doing multi-tracking self accompaniment back in the 1950's.

They were a band I was really into when I was a teenager, and now my kids are into them. They’re still going, concerts are full of old farts and their kids.

I was curious about the use of Warrior's cover too.

But it make sense because Simon House really came into his own on that album. Love this from it:

I like to think David Bowie loved his playing on this album - and that's why he was recruited for Lodger and played violin on Yassassin, Red Sails, Boys Keep Swinging and Repetition.
