Just over 12,000 hot dogs were prepped, and Clippers fans rushed to get in line Tuesday night for 10-cent morsels, an enduring tradition for the team.

It's not only the first game of the season at Huntington Park but also Dime-A-Dog night, a fan favorite!

The Columbus Clippers are finishing up the regular season this week and want to make it extra special for fans.

Columbus left fielder Daniel Johnson batted in three runs Wednesday night, but the Clippers (13-7) fell to the Louisville Bats 7-5 at Huntington Park. Johnson's first RBI of the night came in the bottom of the second inning when he hit a solo home run over the fight field wall to tie the game 1-1. That was his third home run on the season. In the top of the third inning, the Bats added three runs to take a 4-1 lead.

The Columbus Clippers (13-6) got back in the win column Tuesday night and did so in dramatic fashion with a walk-off, 10th inning win over the visiting Louisville Bats. The Bats struck first with a pair of runs in the top of the second inning. In the bottom of the inning, David Fry singled to right, scoring Oscar Gonzalez to cut Louisville's lead to 2-1.

The Indianapolis Indians hung a crooked number in the bottom of the fourth inning Wednesday to help beat Columbus 5-3, snapping the Clippers' nine-game winning streak. The Indians took an early 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first when Anthony Alford knocked a line drive over the left-field wall. In the top of the third inning, the Clippers (10-4) tied the game 1-1 one a solo home run by Jose Fermin, his third of the season.

The Columbus Clippers (10-3) extended their winning streak to nine games Tuesday night with a 4-2 win over the Indianapolis Indians. The Clippers got on the board early when right fielder Oscar Gonzalez tripled to right field scoring Luke Maile. After a pair of scoreless innings, the Clippers struck again in the top of the fourth, plating two runs on a double by first baseman David Fry. Gonzalez and Will Benson scored to extend Columbus' lead to 3-0.

The Columbus Clippers (7-3) scored six runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to defeat Syracuse 15-12 and extend its winning streak to six games. Syracuse jumped out to an early lead scoring four runs in the top of the first inning. In the third, Syracuse extended its lead to 6-0 before the Clippers struck in the bottom of the inning. Oscar Gonzalez hit his third home run of the season, scoring Richie Palacios and Luke Maile to gut the Mets' lead to 6-3.
