The Foundation for Education and Research in Biofeedback and Related Sciences

The Foundation for Education and Research in Biofeedback and Related Sciences (FERB) offers Student Travel & Tuition Scholarships to the AAPB Scientific Meetings, and annual Student Research Grant Awards.

FERB also awards annual research grants for student projects.  Each student must complete an application form in which they provide details about their proposal (research question, measures, subject recruitment, hypotheses, statistics, etc.).  Research support will be limited, based on the quality of the submissions and availability of funds.

Student Scholarship Applications are OPEN for the 2026 AAPB 56th Annual Scientific Conference

FERB invites all full-time students to apply for its $400 student travel and registration scholarship to support attendance at the Association for Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback's (AAPB) 2026 Annual Scientific Meeting in Baltimore, MD.  Use this link to submit your application.

Please respond to all questions on the application form and attach all required supporting documentation before submitting.

Note: For those students not already members of AAPB, $59 of your FERB award will cover your student dues and grant you membership. You must be a student member of AAPB to qualify for funding; one year's student member dues of $59 will be deducted from the travel award of those who apply for travel funding as non-member applicants.
