This was interesting because we (as kids) were always forced to eat Brussel sprouts because “they were good for us!” It was always argued that if we had no room for Brussel sprouts, then clearly we had no room for dessert!
To this day, I will still eat Brussel sprouts even though they taste pretty disgusting because “they are good for me!”
Never under estimate the power of a Mom!

Yeah right.. There are few food items we are forced to eat for being healthy.. Mom’s have a special way to take care of health part more than the tasty part alone.. 😉
