Behavioral Health Programs

The Adult and Older Adult Counseling Services (AOA) is a program that provides a range of mental health services including case management, medication support with on-site psychiatrists, and rehabilitation counseling to promote the optimal functioning of the individual at home and in the community.

Since its inception in 2000, Center for Survivors of Torture (CST) has provided specialized services, including individual and group psychotherapy, psychiatry, psychological and medical evaluations for political asylum cases, medical, social and legal services to more than 1200 victims of torture and family members from over 60 countries.

The Family and Children Services (F&C) is a program committed to providing services that are individualized and appropriate to a client’s age, culture, family values, and whole health. We are dedicated to providing tools and resources for clients and their families to achieve and maintain positive outcomes.

AACI’s Bridging Families program (formerly known as the Katie program) provides intensive community and home-based mental health services to children in foster care or at risk of entering foster care. The program focuses on holistic and comprehensive service expansion to meet the needs of children, youth, and their families ages 0-21. The program is committed to strengthening the collaboration between child welfare agencies and mental health services using the Integrated Core Practice Model (ICPM). AACI’s Bridging Families team is trained to provide services to clients with a trauma-informed and strength-based approach. This approach empowers children and their families, giving them resources to create a life worth living.
