To provide more value to our members and subscribers, AABC works with the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Continuing Education Provider program to offer continuing education credits for reading TAB Journal technical content, beginning with the Summer 2020 issue.
By taking a short online quiz based on the corresponding issue of TAB Journal, readers can earn AIA learning units (LUs). Quiz questions are drawn from information in each article in the issue and shouldn’t take more than 10 minutes to complete. AIA LUs are widely recognized in the industry and can in most cases be used to satisfy continuing education requirements for a broad range of technical certifications. The credits are also applicable to AABC’s mandatory continuing education requirements for all AABC-certified personnel, which mandates 60 points every three years for TBEs and 30 points every three years for certified technicians
