I took a study break to write some House/Wilson fluff. Inspired by prompt pic #4 from today's House Community Fest activities.

Title: Snowfall
Author: a_single_plum
Genre: Sweet fluffy fluff
Notes: Just a little drabble inspired by a prompt, "Snowfall", from a different community. Also (obviously) inspired by recent weather. Although it's based on the US storm coverage from a couple weeks ago, the same "OMG SNOW!!1!" overreaction happens here, too. Anyway, if there's anyone else out there who's sick of snow and winter, this is for you!
Disclaimer: "House, M.D." and all things related belong to David Shore. I do not own anything or have any money, which is why I am not currently lounging on a tropical beach somewhere.

Title: October the 31st: Next Year
Author: a_single_plum
Genre: Fluff, crack, crossover
Pairings: House & Wilson friendship/pre-slash
Summary: House and Wilson have started a new life after their encounter with Jason Voorhees.
Notes: Cut-text from Halloween 3: Season of the Witch. This is a sequel of sorts to October the 31st, because what's a horror movie parody without a dumbass sequel, LOL? The idea for this popped into my head at work last week, but I don't have time to write a full fic. So I did a drabble instead, which I hope to expand if I ever have free time again, LOL. Anyway, enjoy, and have a great Halloween!
Disclaimer: House, M.D. and all things related belong to David Shore. The other franchise mentioned in the fic belongs to John Carpenter.

Title: Call Me Al
Genre: AU, humor, parody
Characters: House/Wilson established, Cuddy/Foreman, Chase, Cameron
Summary: It's about a year after "Babies and Bathwater". Cuddy voted to keep Vogler and his money. House and Wilson are Married...With Children.
Notes: Thank you so, so much to
cuddyclothes for her awesome beta work! I'd been working on this for a long time, and I kind of got stuck. She steered me in the right direction and helped make this fic so much better than I could have done on my own. *hugs*
Title is taken from a quote in the Futurama episode "A Bicyclops Built For Two" and also "You Can Call Me Al" by Paul Simon.
I can't promise a regular posting schedule because of real-life commitments, but there will be about 5 chapters in all. See the end of the chapter for more fic notes. Hope you enjoy! :)
Disclaimer: Much like a shoe salesman, I don't own any of this and I don't make any money off it.

Title: 31 Days of Drabbles
Characters/Pairings: House/Wilson, Cuddy, Cameron, Chase, Foreman
Notes: It took closer to 231 days, but I finished my challenge. Thank you so much to everyone who's shared this journey with me! *hugs*
28, 29, & 30 are set during or immediately after episodes 6.10 "Wilson", 2.17 "All In", and 8.22 "Everybody Dies". Once again, clinic_duty was a huge help!
27 & 31 are the final two parts of a mini-arc consisting of #s 17, 26, 27, and 31.
Finally, I just want to mention that even though 30 and 31 are the last drabbles I wrote, they were the songs that inspired this whole thing. "Every Once In A While" was a childhood favorite that I rediscovered, and it made me think of Cameron looking at the old team picture in the finale. I'd never heard "Prove It All Night" until last May, but it immediately made me think of House and Wilson and the cancer arc. It also turned me into a Springsteen fan!
I hope you have as much fun reading these as I did writing them. <3
Disclaimer: David Shore owns "House, M.D." and all things House-related. Songs belong to the artists and record companies. I own nothing, make no money, and do this purely for fun.

Title: 31 Days of Drabbles
Characters & Pairings (this set): Thirteen, Chase/Cameron, Cuddy, House/Wilson
Notes: "I Wish I Knew Natalie Portman" samples "California" by Phantom Planet, which was The OC theme song. And as you all probably know, Olivia Wilde was in The OC. I just thought that was cool.
#17 ("Africa"), #26 ("Say Yeah"), and #31 (I'm not telling yet, lol!) are set at various points along House and Wilson's road trip. They can be read as standalone drabbles, though. #26 takes place about two months post-finale.
As usual, the transcripts at clinic_duty helped immensely with writing these.
Finally, this was a difficult set to write! I knew what I wanted to say with my two chosen songs (#22 and #26), but it was hard to translate the scenes in my mind into words, lol. And I had no idea how to use the three random songs. I'm still not entirely happy with the set, but I got it written, and that's what I wanted. Hope you enjoy!

Title: October The 31st
Author: a_single_plum
Genre: Crack!
Pairings: House/Wilson friendship, Thirteen/Foreman, Chase/Cameron
Notes: Written for the Halloween prompt at hw_prompts. Originally inspired by this maze at Wonderland's Halloween Haunt (which I sadly did not get to. It's on my must-do list for next year). I've also been watching Friday the 13th marathons for the past couple of weeks, and after discovering that Crystal Lake is supposed to be in New Jersey, I had to write this.
It was written quickly, so there is a lot of silliness and horror movie cliches. The plot is heavily influenced by various Friday the 13th movies, especially Parts 3 and 8. It is also influenced by Robot Chicken's "Scooby-Doo Meets Jason Voorhees" segment. Hope you enjoy, and have a Happy Halloween!
Disclaimer: House, M.D. and all things related belong to David Shore. Friday the 13th and all things related belong to Paramount Pictures and New Line. None of it is mine, I make no money, and it's all just for fun.

Title: 31 Days of Drabbles
Characters & Pairings (for this set): House/Wilson, Cuddy, Foreman, Foreman's mom
Notes: The Wikipedia and House wiki pages on Foreman and his family were extremely helpful for writing #20. The setting and some of the dialogue in #19 is taken from episode 3.19, "Act Your Age". Thanks to clinic_duty for posting all those transcripts!
There are two songs in this set that I also want to mention. "Africa" is a gorgeous song with a lot of personal meaning to me. I also think it's a very fitting song for the final episode of House, especially the last chorus. If you're not familiar with it, give it a listen.
The other song I want to mention is "Two Princes", and all I want to say is it's so damn catchy it was stuck in my head for a week straight!
Disclaimer: David Shore owns "House M.D." and all things House-related. Songs belong to the artists and record companies. I own nothing, make no money, and just do this for fun.
LJ is not letting me post links to my other drabble sets, but if you are interested in reading them, they can all be found under the tag "31 drabbles".

I am working on a calculus problem about a box which involves calculating areas and volumes. If you recall any sort of geometry, you will probably remember that the box has length, width, and height. In the equations, these variables are marked by the letters L, W, and H.
So naturally, every time I do anything with these equations, I think "Wilson/House" (or vice versa, depending which letter's in front at the moment). I guess L stands for love, or limping twerp, or something, although I suppose length also works, lol!
Clearly all of this means that math ships Hilson. I knew there was a reason I liked it. :D
