Fiddling around is the point of departure of both our commissioned and autonomous works. Based on personal stories and sketches, the Kunsthal exhibition shows how we arrive at our campaigns, posters, logos, and trailers. Graffiti in the 80s. Graphic design in the 90s. Art direction in the 00s. Calligraffiti in the 10s. Now busting galaxies… Our longtime friend Niels Shoe Meulman showed some (old and new) abstract works at our space.
A spontaneous get-together. We met Anaïs Borie at the Noordermarkt in Rotterdam. Meanwhile, Folkert de Jong visited our studio for the start of his new publication 'Ministry of Fear / Foam' for the exhibition at Kunsthal Kade, Amersfoort. He not only brought himself along, but also left us some freaky figures.
This very detailed series is printed (offset) in 6 unique colours. Each colour can be off or on (and everything in between).

These series of wrapping paper (70 x 100 cm) are offset printed using the iris printing technique. So what you see are solid colours flowing into each other (no rasterized gradients). During printing we shifted the colours, so each sheet has a different tone, brightness and color mix. For example: the first and the last sheet in this picture come from the same colour range.
