VIGIL CLOUD integration overview

VIGIL CLOUD uses API tokens to enable integrations with INFINIAS and other supported systems. These tokens define which cameras and locations can be accessed and shared.

API token creation is limited to dealers, who manage access on behalf of their customers.

Follow the steps below to retrieve the token and integrate with INFINIAS.

Access the dealer portal

To begin, sign in to the VIGIL CLOUD Dealer Portal:

• Navigate to the Administration tab
• Select VIGIL CLOUD API Tokens from the left menu
• Click Create Token

Create the API token

Enter the required information:

• Name: Assign a name to the token.
• Customer: Select the appropriate customer.
• Description (optional): Add details if needed.
• Expiration: Choose an expiration date or select no expiration.

After entering the information, click Next to continue.

Configure sharing settings

Define which locations and devices the API token can access. By default, all current and future locations and devices are included.

To exclude specific items:

1. Click Select Locations or Devices to Exclude
2. Choose the locations or devices you do not want to share

To manually define access:

1. Click Manually Select Locations and Devices
2. Choose only the locations and devices you want to share

After configuring access, click Create Token.

Save the API key

Once the token is created:

• The API key will be displayed immediately
• Copy and store the key in a secure location
• The key cannot be retrieved after closing the window
