Amigo! Pro is a free-form database. Using a Explorer-like double-paned hierarchal tree-view format, Amigo! Pro stores each piece of information as a "note." A note could be as little as one word or as much as several pages of data. You define a note's format and can modify it at will. Much like files in Explorer, the notes are organized into folders and files. Note formats can be defined by the user as styles and can be easily reused. Amigo! Pro is Internet-friendly, too. Web and email addresses are recognized wherever they occur and automatically turn into hyperlinks. Internet browser information is easily captured, which, when coupled with Amigo! Pro's automatic hyperlinks, gives you a powerful bookmark-management facility. Amigo Pro's "PDQ" function, which eliminates repetitive typing, increases accuracy, and reduces entry time. Plus, you can find any note in any file quickly with the program's built-in full text search function. Also included are tools that let you export Amigo! Pro notes to text and HTML files, plus easily exchange data (including all formatting information) with other Amigo! Pro users. Other features include download file management, file drag-and-drop, zip file info, phone dialing, importing of delimited text files, and built-in backup and restore.
