Hosting hardening tip: Pay special attention to the Window Server Guest Account.

Group Managed Service Accounts (gMSA) are the safest way to run a web application pool.

Blocking access to Application Pools and/or gMSAs to as many part of the system as possible will reduce your attack surface.

If attackes can compromize an admin account, they should not be able to move to other servers or access any web files.

Having 16 characters or more in Windows and Active Directory passwords has suprising benefits.
