While working at Bitwise Industries, I designed the website for Geekwise Academy. which offered tech education through affordable courses priced at $250 for a 6-week program. The academy aimed to equip students with real-world, industry-standard skills, and some graduates were even hired by the company’s software development division to gain hands-on experience. Unfortunately, soon after the site was designed, Bitwise Industries went through a brand overhaul, and the site had a short lifespan.

OBJECTIVES

To create an engaging, user-friendly website that showcased the value of Bitwise Academy’s educational offerings and appealed to a wide range of learners, from beginners to advanced tech enthusiasts.

STRATEGY

I designed a modern, approachable layout that emphasized the academy’s mission of providing accessible tech education. The site’s navigation was optimized for easy access to course information and registration. The visuals and messaging reflected the supportive community at Bitwise Academy, encouraging collaboration and growth.

RESULTS

Although the website had a short lifespan due to a company rebrand, it successfully captured Bitwise Academy’s mission and contributed to the growth of their community in its brief time online.
