As a volunteer you will help us organize the conference on-site. In exchange for 8 hours of volunteering you will get free access to the whole conference including food and drinks, plus a FOSS Backstage T-Shirt and of course our eternal gratitude!

Join our build up/break down team on Sunday and Tuesday if you don’t want to miss any of the conference. Build up mainly consists of putting up some signs, placing the lecterns and stage decorations as well as preparing the registration desk. This role consists of two four hours shifts on Sunday and Tuesday.
On Monday or Tuesday you can support us at the registration desk. You will be handing out badges, check tickets and answer participants questions.
Become a stage host on Monday or Tuesday. You introduce the speakers to the audience and make sure that all speakers have what they need. Stage hosts are the link between the audience, speakers, the stage technicians and the #FOSSBack team. This includes the chance to have a little chat with some of the speakers before the talk — an opportunity many volunteers have found to be a great experience.
As an accessibility assistant, you will help attendees with walking difficulties or other needs to navigate the venue.
