When are the coffee/tea breaks?

USCAP will provide coffee and sodas in the main meeting areas throughout the week:

  • Sunday: Coffee and sodas will be available in the mid-morning and mid-afternoon.
  • Monday to Wednesday: Mid-morning coffee and soda breaks will be offered in the exhibit hall, along with larger afternoon breaks that include snacks such as cookies and other refreshments.
  • Thursday: Coffee and sodas will be provided in the mid-morning in the main meeting areas.

When is the all-attendee reception?

To welcome you to San Antonio, all USCAP registrants are invited to attend the all-attendee reception, Gathering at the Grotto, on Saturday, March 21 from 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM in the Grotto on the River level in the Henry B. González Convention Center. The reception will start immediately following the Maude Abbott lecture.

Where is the speaker ready room?

The Speaker Ready Room is located in the Henry B. González Convention Center in room 220 and is open during the following hours:

Will there be WiFi available during the meeting?

Yes. WiFi will be available throughout the Henry B. González Convention Center. The WiFi name is 2026USCAP.

What do I do if I lose my badge?

In the event of a lost name badge or tickets, there will be a $25 replacement fee for reprints. Name badges are required for admittance into course sessions and the exhibit hall.

Can I get a badge for a guest?

A guest is any person who is not a pathologist nor a pathologist-in-training and is accompanying a Full Conference registrant at the Annual Meeting. To receive a daily pass for your guest, please stop by the registration desk onsite.

Guests will need to be registered to attend the Welcome Reception on Saturday evening.  The Full Conference registrant can do so when completing their registration and there will be a $30 fee.

How do I receive an invitation letter for my visa?

Registration for the 2026 USCAP Annual Meeting is required to receive a visa invitation letter. A letter will automatically be generated once your registration is complete. Please fill out the requested information correctly. Once you have completed your registration you will find your visa letter in your MyUSCAP dashboard.  Log in to https://my.uscap.org, go to Upcoming Meetings and then USCAP 2026 Annual Meeting.

Are meals and travel expenses included in the registration fee?
No, the 2026 USCAP Annual Meeting registration does not include travel expenses, meals, or hotel accommodations.
How do I add a course to my registration?
Login at myUSCAP.org and select USCAP 2026 Annual Meeting: Add a Ticketed Session! from your Dashboard.
I’m a pathologist-in-training, how do I register for my free short course?

Is the convention center ADA compliant?

The Henry B. González Convention Center falls under Title II (State & Local Government) of the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) and is maintained and operated with regard to the requirements of the Act. For events in the Lila Cockrell Theatre, accessible seating is available in several areas.

Is there a private nursing room available at the convention center?

The convention center offers dedicated private rooms for Nursing Mothers:

  • East Wing – Room 1212 (lobby corridor between Halls 3 & 4)
  • West Wing – Room 2137 (next to Room 215 in Parkview)

They are equipped with:

  • Comfortable Furniture
  • Power Outlets
  • Wastebasket
  • Table
  • Paper Towels

This room can be secured if necessary. A restroom is located nearby. The Operations Staff periodically refreshes the room throughout the day. If you have any questions please call the convention center at 210-207-8500.

Is there a coat/bag check?

There will be no coat/bag check available at convention center. Please arrange to leave your bag with your hotel if needed.

Is there a quiet/prayer room?

The quiet/prayer room is located in Convention Center Room 305.

Is cash accepted at the convention center?

Cash is accepted at all concession outlets.

Is there an ATM at the convention center?

The ATM is located through the Market Café in the main lobby.

Poster and Platform Information

How do I upload my Platform Presentation?

All presenters are required to check in at the Speaker Ready Room 220 no later than 6 hours before the start of your presentation. The Speaker Ready Room is open during the following times:

We recommend that presentations be created with Microsoft PowerPoint. Apple Keynote based presentations will not be supported.

  • Format for presentations must be 16:9
  • Templates are available and have been sent to all presenters. We highly encourage and prefer for you to use the USCAP supplied template.
What are the guidelines for printing my poster?

Full poster guidelines for presenting a poster at the 2026 USCAP Annual Meeting can be found by visiting https://2026am.uscap.org/poster-guidelines/.

What are the poster dimensions?

Poster board surface is 48 inches tall by 94 inches wide. The poster dimensions should be no greater than 44 inches x 91 inches. You are limited to this surface, however, you do not need to fill the entire board. The recommended minimum size is 42 inches x 68 inches.

Can I download the full text of all abstracts in specific category?

Yes. Please follow the steps below:

  1. Click here to visit the Print Program page.
  2. Select Print by Session
  3. Select all Platform, Poster, and Stowell Orbison sessions under the subcategory. This will be a large file. You can either save as a PDF or print.
Where do I find my poster board number?

You can locate your poster board number in your abstract account.

What if someone is in my space?

If a poster is incorrectly mounted on your board, please visit the Poster Information area in the USCAP booth #431 on the exhibit floor. Please DO NOT REMOVE the poster without USCAP staff assistance.

Can I present my poster/platform virtually?

No, posters and platforms must be presented at the in-person meeting in San Antonio. All presenters are required to pay the General Registration fee for the Annual Meeting. Poster presenters should be at their posters during their scheduled poster session.
