Become a trained and certified Escort Vehicle Driver with 2020 CDL Training’s Virginia Pilot Training Program. This 8-hour, in-person class prepares you to guide over-dimensional and oversize loads safely while protecting the public, infrastructure, and cargo.
This course introduces students to the responsibilities of escort vehicle operators and the safety procedures used during the transportation of oversized loads. Students will gain an understanding of industry requirements, communication practices, and escort vehicle operations.

This helps to ensure that pilot vehicle operators understand their responsibilities and are better prepared to perform escort duties as per applicable state and industry guidelines.
