Together
for Health
10KSA is an initiative to raise awareness for cancer prevention and early detection through regular check-ups and screenings, and adopting healthier lifestyles
We are asking everyone to be their own health champion, have a check-up or get screened, and encourage others to do the same.
On December 8, show your support by forming a Lavender Ribbon.
Lavender is the universal awareness color for all cancers, symbolizing unity and solidarity with patients, survivors, and their families.
The risk of developing many cancers can be reduced by making positive lifestyle choices, including regular exercise, balanced nutrition, stress management, and living smoke-free. Raising awareness and prevention, along with early detection, are key to reducing the risk of getting cancer, while also increasing the chances of treatment success.
1. Commit
to being your own health champion. Get a check-up or screening. Encourage others you know to do the same.
2. Form
a Lavender Ribbon in any way you like. Gather people – whether family, friends, classmates or colleagues – wearing lavender to shape an awareness ribbon; or bring it to life creatively by drawing, painting, designing it digitally, or by assembling lavender-colored objects or natural elements. You can form more than one Lavender Ribbon (for more creative ideas, please see our Toolkit).
3. Share
your participation on social media. Tag @10KSA2025 and use #10KSA. Include a caption that states how you will take ownership of your health.
Download the Toolkit

Our Story
In 2010, to encourage greater participation in screening for breast cancer, we convened women in Saudi Arabia to achieve a Guinness World Record for the Largest Human Awareness Ribbon.
In 2015, we highlighted breast cancer awareness within the broader context of personal health and disease prevention – 10KSA culminated in an all-day wellness event, and almost 9,000 women joined to form a new Guinness World Record ribbon.
As we mark the 10-year anniversary of 10KSA, we unite communities in a shared commitment to raise awareness for all cancers.
