One of our favorite places to walk though.. either early in the evening, when the stone is pinkish and the crowds are gone, or in the morning, on a closure day when it’s just you and the ‘castle’ turned museum!

I like putting my feet in the water. But they tell you off. Why put fountains there if you can’t get your feet wet..
