1001 Scribbles 
We lucked out in Rome on our recent trip (November/December). But the weather was nasty in Venice… and flooding. (grin) But Santorini, which is what I am blogging about now, was another story. The weather was beautiful. And if I had to make a choice for good weather I would vote for Santorini! The beauty and colors are best appreciated in sunlight.
I’ve only been to Italy in summer. It gave the impression (unlike, say, England or Switzerland) of being a country that is always sunny.
Yes, it was winter in Rome! Just stopped by there last week Saturday and was not quite prepared for the cold!
