As unbelievable as it might sound, the truth is that although I’m Portuguese, – and the Azores Islands are part of my own country – I’ve never been there. Shame on me! They’re known as the Pearl of the Atlantic and represent a heavenly destination where nature, peace and culture are the islands main symbols.

Por mais inacreditável que pareça, a verdade é que mesmo sendo portuguesa – e pertencendo o arquipélago dos Açores ao meu país – nunca lá fui. Uma vergonha! São conhecidas como a Pérola do Atlântico e representam um destino paradisíaco onde a natureza, a paz e a cultura são os principais ex-libris das ilhas.
