Friday Flowers ~ Yellow

Spring has been trying so hard here in Northern California. I think we might be getting there.

Words on Wednesday~Earth Day

From my Instagram story today, and I thought I’d share it here.

Photographing mostly landscapes, I honor this earth each and every day, each and every time I’m out there seeing the absolute wonder of this planet earth. I’d go hug my favorite tree, but she’s behind a wrought iron fence in someone’s back yard. Let me set the scene…a tree that sits in a grassy green yard atop a hill that looks out onto the waters of the Carquinez Strait here in Northern California. I’ve never been able to get a shot of the tree and water together due to the cliff/hill/fence. Don’t worry, I won’t give up trying.

I’d be interested in what you see.

Monochrome Monday~In The Country

I spent part of Easter Sunday out on the backroads near where I used to live. A complete turnabout from where I live now near the water. It’s a different kind of exuberant feeling, but the same rush to look out and see fields of wildflowers and crops. True to my Gemini nature, I love both.

Flowers On Friday

Now more than ever I feel a need for flowers and color. Orange you glad there’s flowers?

Monochrome Monday

A rather somber garden party. It was an overcast and chilly day. I saw this in black and white, there was no color to be had.

Late/Early For The Party

I’ve been late for many a usually scheduled post lately. I think about it early in the day and promptly forget. For example yesterday’s Friday Flowers. At any rate, I will just be posting at random times going forward, mixing it up a bit. It’s all about flexibility of late; going with the flow.

Have a good Easter Sunday.

The Sunday Sojourner

Sometimes I sit and think; and sometimes I just sit. The latter is better. But I digress. Being home, the place I love, brings great joy, and for now, no urge to travel very far. Possibly my age, possibly the current world chaos. A little of both. There is something to be said for contentment. And this place where I live has everything of beauty that brings peace.
