SOC 2 Type II & ISO 27001

Limited IAM: ZopNight operates with least-privilege access by default.

Data encrypted in transit & at rest; keys rotate every 24 h.

Built by the experienced team from HashiCorp, Accenture, Meesho & OYO.

“I once burned ₹ 1.6 L in one weekend because a staging cluster hummed all night. ZopNight is my apology letter to every founder who’s done the same. Let’s put those bills—and ourselves—to bed.”
— Talvinder Singh, Co-Founder
Frequently Asked Questions
Doesn’t Auto Scaling already handle idle time?
Not really. Auto Scaling shrinks fleets but almost never kills the meter. Detached EBS, drowsy RDS, half-used dev clusters—still racking up rupees while they “relax.” ZopNight actually flips the switch, so you pay $0 when nothing’s happening, then revive everything with one click.
Why pay for ZopNight when I could cron or Lambda it?
You can—if you fancy babysitting scripts, chasing edge cases, tagging every newborn resource, and praying cron doesn’t ghost you at 2 a.m. ZopNight comes with versioned automation, audit trails, safe rollbacks, alerts, and a policy engine—zero DIY, zero midnight drama.
Will ZopNight mess with my overnight CI/CD runs?
Nope. You whitelist what must stay awake. Need a 5 a.m. pipeline? Set a wake window—infra is up before the first job yawns. We only hibernate what you *explicitly* allow.
Kubernetes & StatefulSets—supported?
Yep. We snapshot PVCs, snooze nodes, and restore StatefulSets to their original pools. Works on EKS, GKE, AKS, and roll-your-own clusters. Data stays cozy; apps wake up right where they dozed off.
Will it ever touch prod?
Never—unless you tag it. Default targets are dev, stage, QA. Prod is off-limits until you invite it to the slumber party.
Do we sleep or hibernate the resources?
ZopNight puts cloud resources to sleep by stopping them entirely, eliminating idle-time costs. Unlike hibernation, it doesn't preserve in-memory state—making it ideal for non-prod environments.
Which clouds can ZopNight put to bed today?
AWS, Azure, GCP—plus Kubernetes on all three. OCI and DigitalOcean are in pilot (pajamas pending).
How long is setup and what IAM do you need?
Five-minute wizard or a 90-second role paste. We only ask for stop/start perms—no deletes, no root-and-pray.
Is this another FinOps dashboard?
Hard pass. Dashboards nag—you still do the chores. ZopNight is a hands-off robot: it acts, then sends you the savings selfie.
What if a developer needs a server at 2 a.m.?
No problem. Just tap “Wake 1h” in the Zopnight dashboard — even from your phone — or trigger it via the API. We also support Slack commands (e.g., /zopnight wake Q3) so your team can bring up environments instantly without logging in. Quick, simple, and always in your control.
Will scheduled cron jobs break when things wake?
We fire a 60-second warm-up hook before traffic flows, so jobs start on warm infra, not cold coffee.
What kind of resources we can scan?
ZopNight scans and manages key cloud resources across major platforms. it supports EC2, ECS, Kubernetes, RDS, Cloud SQL instances.
