Core classes:
Defense Against the Dark Arts,
Charms, and
Transfiguration. All of which he will have to work his ass off at to pass, and will probably need tutoring.
Potions,
History of Magic,
Herbology, and
Astronomy. He'll be able to catch on to those after some time, though he'll need to put in some hours studying.
Flying. The only class where he'll get top marks without even trying.
Electives:
Ancient Runes, since Suzaku won't be the most magically adept at the start (though he'll improve over time), he'll probably carve runes into some weapons and armor to enhance them as a way to compensate. It also suits his fighting style better, allowing him to charge into a fight like a dolt, punch and stab the shit out of everything, and somehow not die in the process.
Muggle Self Defense/Non-verbal Spell Refinement. Because Batman vs Zero has to happen.
Earth Magic. Like the other magic classes, he'll have to work hard to master this, but it'll allow him all new ways to use the terrain in a fight and add to his overall versatility.
Advanced Counter Magic. He probably shouldn't be taking Advanced [Anything] at this juncture, but he needs to keep tabs on Schneizel. Whom he will have to bug a lot for he will need the help to pass this class.
Alchemy.
He's only taking this class so I have an excuse to have him bug Ed. It'll help him with mastering Transfiguration and potions, and allow him to create more complex mixtures and objects.
Its kind of a heavy workload, but I figure he can handle it. With lots of studying.
