Electrify America was awarded over $3 Million through the CEC’s Fast and Available Charging for All Californians (FAST) grant.

In 2023, BMW expanded its nationwide ChargeForward smart charging service, incentivizing electric vehicle charging during peak renewable energy times. The service, available to all electrified vehicle customers, uses region-specific carbon data. BMW is also part of a global alliance planning a fast-charging network with 30,000 chargers in the U.S. and Canada. The first U.S. stations are expected in summer 2024, followed by Canada.

The Electrify Santa Monica Rebate Program offers a standard rebate of $1,500 and an income-qualified rebate of $3,000 for EV Chargers in multifamily homes. The City also maintains a map of EV charging locations as a resource to residents and EV drivers looking for a charge.

Over the past three years, Culver City has issued EV charging station permits to residential and commercial properties, who collectively installed over 110 EV charging stations citywide.

Southern California Edison’s (SCE), through its innovative Charge Ready Transportation program, has successfully installed a total of 3,000 light-duty charging ports to date, providing a reliable and convenient charging network for EV owners across the region.
