Zentraxa was founded in 2017 with a vision of precision engineering biomaterials for purpose. Starting as a spin-out from the University of Bristol, we specialise in the design, production & testing of novel biomaterials. We aim to become one of the front-runners in developing novel biomaterials with our unique process & sustainable, bespoke solutions.
OUR PROJECT AREAS
AQUAGLU
An example of our capability in action is the development of a fast curing, bio-based underwater glue. Inspired by marine mollusc chemistry this is a proprietary formulated rapid acting adhesive that performs exceptionally in wet, dirty and submerged environments with no need for surface preparation.

At the core of our platform is scalability, ensuring the ingredients we create are commercially viable and can easily be integrated with existing systems. Zentide is particularly effective at producing difficult-to-make materials which can be the key performance-enhancing ingredients in everyday products. Combined with our extensive technical know-how, Zentide allows us to push boundaries to develop sustainable products with improved performance.
