If your system has a chance to fail 0.1% of the time, that might be acceptable, but the failure rate quickly grows if you have dependencies on 200 other systems that all have 0.1% failure rate

0.999^200 = 81% so it's safe to assume your system will fail 1 out of 5 times

You think you're safe because you only have 10 dependencies? Those dependencies also have 10 dependencies each so good luck.
