Move It, Monster!

Kinu looked down into the deep ocean before him. His bare toes dug into the wooden plank beneath him. He heard a commanding voice behind him. "Move it, monster!" He felt the prodding of a sword against his back. Kinu would attack the poking human if his hands wern't tied. "You're not really going to get rid of me like this, are you?" pleaded Kinu. "Can't we just talk about this?" "The time for talk ended after you killed one of my crew! Now you pay the price!" A resounding cry of agreement came from the rest of the humans watching. Kinu sighed and turned back to the ocean depths before him. "Well, I guess there's only one thing left to do..." said the rat.

Kinu's tail suddenly sprung to life and wrapped around the human's sword. He yanked it from his hands and used it to slice the rope that bound his hands. The human captain, infuriated by this, began to pull his gun. Kinu responded quickly by tackling the human, bringing them both crashing onto the deck. Kinu rolled off of the captain, grabbing his gun and pointing it at the human. He laughed. "Oh, man. You should see the look on your face. Didn't see that coming, did you?"

Kinu heard something moving behind him and managed to barely dodged the swipe of a sword from behind. He turned to fire at the attacker, but then he realized that he was surrounded. A surge of fear went through him, giving the human captain enough of an opening to kick Kinu's legs out from under him, causing him to fall on his tail. Soon he was surrounded by swords and guns, all pointed directly at his neck.

"You didn't see that comin' either, did ja?" said the captain while his crew glowered at the rodent. "Now... Move it, Monster!"
