Executive Committee
The TMSU Executive Committee is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the students’ union and implementing the mandate set out by the Board of Directors. The current Executives’ terms end April 30, 2027.
Zain Baig
PresidentZain (he/him) is a fifth-year Business Technology Management Co-op student committed to finding innovative, student-focused ways to elevate the TMU student experience. He founded TMU’s Literary Salon, TMU Basketball Society, and the TMSU Street Team Marketing Project, all of which he built from the ground up by hiring executive teams, managing operations, and ensuring they serve students first. As President his goal is to uplift others, empower their ideas, and create an environment where every student can grow both personally and professionally.
Polly Yang
Vice-President OperationsPolly Yang (she/her) runs the operations for the TMSU including the budgetary oversight. As a third-year accounting co-op student, she brings her co-op experience at a CPA accredited firm, knowledge in accounting principles and standards, and her leadership role experience in non-profit and interest groups on campus.
Teresa Baricevic
Vice-President EducationTeresa Baricevic (she/her) advocates for all students and learners alike, and is a representative for multiple communities making up the student body. As a TMU Marketing Management alum, she provides detail oriented leadership skills as well as her accommodative outreach experience to bring positive change to the TMSU.
Megan Morgan
Vice-President EquityMegan Morgan (she/her) is a Business Management student majoring in Entrepreneurship and Strategy. In all her advocacy, she works toward visibility, equity, and inclusion for marginalized students. As VP Equity, she’s determined to use her knowledge and experience to promote lasting change within TMU.
